The Deep South Turf Expo is scheduled for Oct. 13-15 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center in Biloxi. The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is the host hotel. The three-day event was organized by the Alabama Turfgrass Association, Alabama Golf Course Superintendents Association, Gulf Coast Golf Course Superintendents Association, Louisiana-Mississippi Golf Course Superintendents Association and the Mississippi Turfgrass Association.
Turfgrass professionals, researchers and speakers from Auburn University, Louisiana State University, Mississippi State University, Virginia Tech and the University of Florida will share their expertise. Continuing education units (CEUs) for major industry associations are available for the educational sessions, as are pesticide re-certification points from regulatory bodies in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
More than 130 exhibitors are already confirmed for the tradeshow and that number could grow before the Deep South Turf Expo kicks off next month.
