Round Up: Snow removal

Snow blowers for ASV loaders
The two-stage snow blowers, available for all ASV compact track loaders, combine traction and high ground clearance to move heavy or drifted snow easily. The machine’s hydraulic system provides direct drive power to the blower’s auger and fan, and electric controls are used for hydraulic chute rotation and deflection to prevent freeze-ups.

Valk produces full line of snow plows
Valk Manufacturing’s VW-9PRHD/BSS plow is designed for F-550 and C5500 series trucks. It is available in 8-, 9- and 10-foot lengths and can be outfitted with a straight moldboard in lieu of the funnel-style moldboard. The plow is available in both manual and power angle.

Low-profile design offers enhanced visibility
The versatile LP-8 spreader from Blizzard Snowplows has an 8.0-cubic-foot hopper capacity to hold up to 400 pounds of de-icing material. The low-profile design provides an unobstructed rear view from your truck cab and mounts to any Class IV trailer hitch with a 1,000-pound tongue rating.

Plow hydraulically extends width
The WIDE-OUT adjustable-wing snow plow from Western adjusts its configuration to carry or windrow more snow. The moveable-wing design enables you to change the blade from an eight-foot straight-blade width, to a 10-foot straight-blade width, to a scoop position width of nearly nine feet.

Efficient, reliable snow and ice control
The Sno-Pro Fast-Cast 2000 from Curtis Industries features a 5.0-cubic-foot, 350-pound capacity hopper, a spreading width of 4 to 40 feet and is easily mountable on a Class III receiver hitch. The heavy-duty powder coated steel frame and UV-protected high-density polymer hopper makes the spreader ideal for light commercial applications.

Move up to 71.7 tonsof snow per hour
Honda’s track-drive snow blowers are equipped with ice-breaking, heavy-duty serrated augers, adjustable discharge chutes, user-friendly controls and hydrostatic drive for variable speed control. Both the 1132TA and 1132TAS models feature recoil start, 32-inch clearing width and 20-inch clearing height.

New Hiniker V-Plows
Hiniker introduces a line of high-performance, trip-edge V-Plows providing improved performance and smoother operation when coupled with skid steers. The pinch-free pivot point is nine inches above the ground, providing improved protection from curbs and parking barriers. Double-acting hydraulic cylinders provide control of moldboard positioning, whether plowing or backdragging.

Exmark offers blowers for two mowers
Exmark’s FrontRunner and Navigator zero-turn mower models can now be equipped with snow blowers. Each blade features a two-stage blower with four blades and rotational chute, is easily maneuvered from the operator seat and can be quickly attached without tools. Both blades angle 20 degrees right or left.

Snow blower for Kubota tractors
Kubota’s front-mount, two-stage snow blower fits on the B2630 and B3030 tractor models, and is ideal for clearing snow from driveways, roads and parking lots. It features a standard manual chute rotator, optional hydraulic rotator and requires B2325 valve or loader valve. An optional three-point rear-mount conversion kit is available.

Use your mid-mount ZTR for snow cleanup
JRCO’s snow plow, featuring a 60-inch-wide blade, can attach to mid-mount zero-turn mowers. The seven-angle blade is adjustable from the operator’s seat, and other options include foot pedal lift and lock and a spring-loaded blade trip.

Plow offers increased illumination
According to THE BOSS, its SmartLight 2 illuminates in front of your vehicle wider, farther and more consistently than any other plow light. Halogen InfraRed bulb provides a whiter light that is less fatiguing to a driver’s eyes when plowing at night. In addition, SmartLight 2 lights both the low and high beam bulbs together during high-beam use, providing ultimate light output.

Spreader up to 40 percent lighter
The SnowEx 7500 V-box-style bulk spreader features a 1.4-cubic-yard capacity polyethylene hopper, eliminates corrosion concerns and is up to 40 percent lighter than similar capacity steel-built options. Intended for use in pickups with 6-foot beds or larger, features a multi-angle hopper and inverted-“V” salt/sand baffle design. Combined with an attached vibrator, the hopper allows for continuous flow of a multitude of materials.

Fisher X-tremeV snow plow
The XtremeV V-plow from Fisher Engineering is available in 71/2-, 81/2- and 91/2-foot widths in powder-coated or stainless-steel options. Other features include all-new hydraulics which produce a 50-percent increase in operating speed, as well as double acting cylinders for efficient backdragging.
