SDLG has branched out with its new owner, unveiling its first skid-steer and compact-track loaders for the North American market.
Both the wheeled SR800H and tracked TV1100H feature the ability to run multiple attachments, intelligent controls and optional full electric drive.
SDLG was sold by Volvo CE in 2025 to Lingong, which, like SDLG, is based in China. Lingong also owns aerial-lift manufacturer LGMG.
SDLG stands for Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery and was owned by Volvo for 19 years, with its U.S. products sold at Volvo dealerships. The brand entered the U.S. market in 2013 with two wheel loaders and later took on Volvo’s backhoe and motor grader production under the SDLG name.
The skid steer and CTL launched at ConExpo 2026 as new categories for the company in North America. The field is a crowded one, especially for compact track loaders, which are the top-selling category of construction equipment in the U.S., according to EDA.
Between May 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026, EDA reports 55,674 new-financed sales of CTLs. During the same period, 9,465 new skid steers were sold. (EDA and Equipment World are both owned by Fusable.)
Here's a look at SDLG's two new compact loaders.
