FECON Adds BHP170 Power Pack to its line of New Generation Power Packs

Updated Sep 20, 2010

FECON, Inc. Lebanon, OH. (May 26, 2008).  Fecon, Inc. introduces the BHP170 Power Pack for maximizing excavator based mulching performance.  Controlled by a Fecon Power Management® microcontroller, all of the dedicated power (170hp) is directed to the mulcher.  The microcontroller manages engine and hydraulic performance in real time.  A control panel inside the excavator’s cab allows the operator to monitor operation and see that the mulcher is getting maximum horsepower at all times.  Additional benefits are improved engine power and reduced fuel consumption.

BHP170hp Power Packs offer a choice of two engines; Cummins or John Deere. Both engines maximize excavator based mulcher performance with R.O.W. Clearing, Site Prep, Firebreaks, Orchard Clean-Up and Removal, Prairie and Wetland Restoration, Agricultural Preparation, Land Development and Stump Removal applications.
