The 1330 trencher is a reliable, low maintenance hydraulic drive trencher that features a reversible digging chain for dislodging rocks or spoils caught in the chain. These features include the hydraulic digging chain drive, a hydraulic oil cooler that requires less hydraulic fluid and a direct drive (not electric) hydraulic cooling fan. A bronze pivot bushing extends service life. Daily routine servicing has practically been reduced to simply checking the oil and gas.
The 1330 trencher is equipped with a 13 gross hp (9.6 kW) Honda GX390 gasoline engine. The trencher can trench to depths of 36 inches (915 mm), with trench widths to 6 inches (150 mm).
At just 81 inches (2 m) long and 34 inches (865 mm) wide, the compact size of the 1330 trencher allows it to mobile through a standard yard gate and work in narrow, confined areas. A variety of high-performance Ditch Witch digging chain systems are available for trenching in most soil conditions.
Simple, color-coded operator controls help new operators quickly become productive operators. All controls are located within easy reach from the operator’s position and require little effort to use. A wrap-around style handlebar aids the operator in maneuvering the trencher. The 1330 trencher’s two-speed ground drive, with dedicated dig and drive speeds, boosts operator productivity. A standard axle lock can engage both drive wheels for straight trenching, or can free one wheel for easy maneuvering around the work area.
