PERRY, Okla. – The Ditch Witch organization offers an 18-hp-class walk-along trencher. The 1820 has increased horsepower for this size machine with two gasoline engine options; it also offers color-coded controls for easy operation, and advance, low-maintenance design with easy access to service areas. 

The 1820, with a smooth, hydrostatic ground drive and a rugged mechanical trenching drive system, can trench to depths of 48 inches (1220 mm), depending on boom and chain. A choice of three optional pivots permits trench widths from 3.75- to 16- inches (85 to 405 mm). Power steering operates drive wheels which allows steering during trenching.
