Canoga Mixers remain strong at MK Diamond

Updated Oct 22, 2010

Torrance, CA, June 2, 2009 – Since 1945 construction professionals have come to rely on Canoga mixers for consistent on the job performance. When MK Diamond Products, Inc. purchased Canoga Equipment in January of 2006 they continued manufacturing these professional grade mixers to meet the demand.

MK Diamond offers five models of mixers to accommodate any size job.

The smaller portable mixers are the Canoga 70 and 80, both powered by a high torque Baldor 1/3 HP motor, with a batch capacity of 2 cubic feet. Lightweight, at 185 pounds, these mixers allow for easy transport and handling by one person.

The midsize Canoga 113 series of concrete mixers are towable with a welded steel frame and torsion bar suspension. They feature a cast iron ring and pinion drive system powered by a ½ HP TEFC electric motor or a GX120 Honda engine. A simple dump mechanism is easy to use and provides control when discharging material. The heavy-duty steel drum measures 26″ in diameter with a 16″ opening.

The larger, towable, Canoga mixers, Canoga 193 and 300 series, are durable with a welded steel frame, torsion bar suspension, spring steel axle and independent suspension for smoother rides. The tow-tongue includes cast iron 2″ ball hitch for easy maneuverability. Both gas and electric versions are available. All have cast steel pinion gear for superior wear and durability. A dump gear provides better control when discharging material. The drum is fabricated from 10-gauge steel with 1/4″ bottom and 3/8″ reinforcing ring for strength.

The Canoga 193, powered by a Baldor 1 Hp motor or a gas GX 160 Honda engine, has a batch capacity of 5 cubic feet. The larger 300, powered by a Baldor 1.5 Hp motor or a gas GX 240 Honda engine, has a 9 cubic feet capacity.
