WACKER introduces backpack and pole vibrators

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin WACKER expanding its line of portable vibration equipment with the addition of a line of backpack and pole vibrators. This line of gasoline vibrators feature patented pendulum technology for high impact, high frequency concrete vibration.  The BV and PV series offer over 10,000 vibrations per minute in the concrete and are ideally suited for light to medium duty concrete work and hard to reach concrete applications.   

  

According to Tim Lickel, WACKER’s concrete product manager, “These products offer the contractor unlimited maneuverability on the job with no power cords to catch on obstructions.  They are ideal for elevated decks and structural slabs where portable generators are difficult to stage.” 

  

Two backpack models are available, the BV 35A-P and BV 50A-P, feature shoulder mounted on/off switch and throttle control for simple operation.  A quick disconnect system on the backpacks provide for quick backpack vibrator removal and easy storage.  Operators will find this ergonomic backpack design with custom-built harness pad and integrated back support belt comfortable to operate for extended periods of time.  The BV 35A-P weighs 22-pounds and is powered by a 35.8-cc 4-stoke Honda engine.  The BV 50A-P weighs 34-pounds and is powered by a 49-cc Honda engine. 

  

WACKER’s new pole vibrator, model PV 35A, offers an optional tumble cage for protection of engine components.  The PV 35A, weighs 17-pounds and is powered by a 35.8-cc Honda engine.  The pole vibrator also has a shoulder strap and molded handles for operator control and comfort for extended use with little fatigue. 

  

WACKER’s new pole and backpack vibrators complete the line of concrete consolidation products and make WACKER a one-stop shop for all concrete compaction solutions.
