GME to feature Slide Rail System

Union City, Michigan— Griswold Machine & Engineering, Inc. (GME), a global leader in trench protection, will be featuring its modular GME/E&S Slide Rail System at the 2008 ConExpo Show in Las Vegas, NV.

The system, originally developed and proven in Europe, is ideal for tightly confined jobsites that are close to buildings or highways, which have difficult to achieve compaction specifications, or which require that ground subsidence be kept to a minimum.  The system™s rails and panels are put in place as the excavation proceeds, allowing for fast installation,  reduced soil subsidence and minimal site restoration expense.

The Slide Rail system can be used in a pit configuration, or as a linear, clear-span system for conventional pipe-laying in difficult conditions.
