The Mustang 4-F1 is a crawler mounted rig with high ground clearance, which makes it easier to move over uneven ground. It is compact for residential and tight industrial applications to drill 4-6 inch (100-150 mm) holes, 300 ft (90 m) deep. Its top-head rotary design works ideally with Symmetrix® drilling systems for casing advance and extraction, and all COP, QL, and TD down-the-hole (DTH) hammers can be used with this rig. This model features wide pads for reduced ground pressure in soft surfaces (12 in. or 300 mm). The Mustang 4-F1 is designed for ease of handling and transportation to and from the work site.
Flexibility of use means better rig utilization
The Mustang can be utilized in a variety of applications. One day a Mustang could be working on foundation drilling, advancing the Symmetrix casing system in unstable ground or tight quarters.
