Caterpillar has announced a line of diesel power units packaged specifically for well servicing applications within the oil and gas industry. Customers will be offered Cat® Transmissions and/or Power Systems (engine, transmission, electronic & electrical system controls, cooling package). Both offerings are comprised of Cat products already utilized in the petroleum business segment but packaged for application flexibility and single point of service.

Cat Power Systems and Transmissions for well servicing will be sold and serviced through the worldwide network of Caterpillar Dealers. Transmissions and power systems are currently available for customer orders.
