Kobelco Construction Machinery Introduces Newest Full-Size Excavator

CAROL STREAM, III., March 11, 2008- Kobelco Construction Machinery America introduces the SK2195LC, the company”s newest redesigned full-size excavator. Once again Kobelco America has combined heavy-duty power and maximum productivity with the finesse and precision needed for finish-quality grading and leveling. Leading its class in overall performance, the SK295LC is perfectly suited for tough jobs that require both power and precise control.

The SK295LC ACERA Mark 8 relies on a Tier III-certified FPT turbocharged engine, from one of the world”s premier engine manufacturers. The Kobelco Power Boost system offers 10 percent more bucket breakout force on command, while the intelligent Total Control System (ITCS) recognizes the operator”s moves, providing progressive power where and when it”s needed.

“Heavy-duty jobs require heavy-duty power, but even more important is the strong combination of muscle and control,” said Paul Golevicz, brand marketing manager at Kobelco America. “With maximum visibility, ITCS and a cab built with operator comfort and ease-of-use in mind, we provide all the tools for precision and total control, as well as the power to back it up”

The SK295LC ACERA Mark 8 comes standard with a longer X-frame for increased stability and a heavy-duty boom and arm. The power-mode selection feature allows the operator to choose from four different models, depending on the job type and difficulty level.

The machines also offer easy serviceability with ground-level access to the radiator, oil cooler and intercooler, hydraulic pump, tank, hoses and filters, batteries, air filter, back-up alarm and other connections to increase productivity and efficiency.

The SK295LC ACERA Mark 8 is Kobelco-designed and manufactured in the company”s Calhoun, Ga. Facility. For more information about the line of Kobelco America excavators, please visit www.kobelcoamerica.com.
