PORTABLE LIGHT TOWERS FROM DOOSAN INFRACORE PORTABLE POWER OFFER DURABILTY AND RELIABILITY

STATESVILLE, N.C. ”  The Ingersoll Rand LightSource® portable light tower from Doosan Infracore Portable Power is specifically designed to meet the rigorous standards of construction and rental markets, as well as special events and disaster relief. The LightSource portable light tower incorporates features such as:

¢  A 6 kilowatt generator

¢  Extended generator warranty

¢  Up to 68 hours of operation

¢  Standard power receptacles

¢  A 30-foot tower extension

With its standard 6 kilowatt generator, the LightSource light tower is capable of operating four, 1,000-watt, metal-halide or high-pressure sodium floodlights for up to 68 hours of continuous operation. The standard metal-halide floodlights provide a NEMA 6-beam spread for better light distribution and area coverage.

The control panel on the LightSource light tower includes individual lamp switches, GFI-protected 120-volt / 15-amp duplex, and 240-volt / 20-amp twist-lock receptacle(s), key-switch ignition, and an hour meter. A low fuel level indicator light can be added to the control panel as an option.

The heavy-duty steel tower on the LightSource unit is a three-section mast that extends 12 to 30 feet. The mast is raised by either dual, hand-operated winches or optional electric winches. At full-mast, and with all four outrigger / jacks secured, the unit can withstand winds up to 65 mph. The tower can be rotated 360 degrees and locked into position for precise aiming of floodlights. For traveling and storage, and to avoid unwanted telescoping, a patented system automatically locks the tower into place when in the horizontal position.

Safe towing of the Ingersoll Rand LightSource light tower is ensured with a standard two-inch ball hitch and two-light towing package, side markers, and reflectors, which meets U.S. Federal and Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. All critical wiring is extended to the drawbar to enable easy hook-up to the tow vehicle. The heavy-duty, 3,500-pound axle ensures trouble-free travel on and off the jobsite. The wide track and low center of gravity provide a high resistance to rollover.

The compact design allows for enhanced operational and maintenance efficiency along with the power and durability expected of quality lighting units. A Kubota engine coupled with a Leroy Somer generator provides the power for the LightSource light tower. The Kubota D1105-E3BG Tier 4 engine is a 1,800-rpm, water-cooled engine with a standard warranty of two years / 2,000 hours on parts and labor, as well as a three-year / 3,000-hour parts-only warranty. The generator has a standard two-year / 2,000-hour warranty. The unit also is designed to CSA requirements for sale in Canada.
