The SuitCase X-TREME 8VS is a voltage-sensing feeder that receives power from a combination of open circuit and arc voltage, so it does not require a 14-pin power/control cable unlike RC (Remote Control) feeders. Many operators feel the power/control cord is just one more item to carry, lose or get damaged.

For maximum mobility, the Suitcase X-TREME 8VS feeder can be used up 400 feet away from the power source while RC feeders are limited to a distance of 75 feet. The Suitcase X-TREME 8VS feeder also provides maximum versatility and will operate with nearly all DC CV/CC welders.

The Suitcase X-TREME 8VS features a potted and trayed main printed circuit board and double-filtered gas valve that helps keep dirt from affecting gas flow for superior durability. One side of the feeder features molded-in slide rails, so operators can literally drag the feeder on the ground without damaging the case.
