He also said that regardless of how many instruments a surveyor might use, TopSURV 7 stores configuration files for every Topcon instrument. In other words, switching from a Legacy E to a GPT-3100W is fast and simple. There™s no wasted time configuring baud rates or connection settings, he said.

The new database engine has cut file size by an amazing 60 percent, Langbein said. Its new graphical user interface and intuitive operation create a user-friendly environment. Icon driven, with no more than four clicks to get to any operation, TopSURV 7 is easy to learn and easier to use.
He said TopSURV 7 supports all major file formats and lets the user visually create custom codes and ordering to ensure a perfect transfer every time.
