The ST400C weatherproof Sonic Tracer is an ultrasonic sensor with an integrated grade display unit. The ST400C is used to reference string line, curb, and gutter, or previous pass as a grade control reference. The ST400C is environmentally sealed and designed for use in harch environments, exceeding industry standards for vibration, temperature, and electrical protection. Used as a part of an automatic grade control system, the ST400C features selectable on-grade accuracy to allow configuration of the ST400C to match the job site tolerances. An industry standard CAN (ISO J939) interface makes system integration a snap. The Sonic Tracer is currently featured on M-Series & H motor graders.
