The X-Boom line is a niche product offering. Bil/JaxHaulotte Group, known as a company that understands the needs of the customer and for providing the equipment to satisfy those needs, currently offers two models of the X-Boom Self-Propelled lifts with a third on the way in 2009.
The 45XA X-Boom is an articulating self-propelled boom lift that has a 51 ft (15.6 m) working height and 27 ft (8.2 m) of maximum outreach. The weight of the 45XA is less than 4,580 lbs. (2,077 kg). The 45XA matches industry standards with 45% gradeability, 3.5 mph (5.6 km/h) drive speed, and four-wheel drive capabilities. Hydraulic outriggers have replaced the heavy counterweights found on conventional self-propelled machines. Set-up is complete in less than 30 seconds.
There are currently 2 models available in the X-Boom family. There is the 45XA and the 36XT is a Telescopic Self-Propelled lift with 43 ft (13.4 m) of working height and a 32 ft (9.8 m) maximum outreach. To continue to grow the X-Boom family of products, a larger articulatinf X-Boom require no commercial driver”s license for towing.
