Mustang Upgrades Compact Track Loader Line

WEST BEND, Wis. (August 13, 2008) – Mustang Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of compact equipment for the agriculture and construction markets, is pleased to announce the availability of three upgraded compact track loader models. Mustang models MTL16, MTL20 and MTL25 have been revised to become models MTL316, MTL320 and MTL325. They have been updated to meet Tier III engine emissions regulations and have undergone other product improvements. A fourth Mustang track loader, model MTL312 (announced in March 2008), brings the total number of track loader units in the compact equipment manufacturer”s product line to four.

The upgraded models” high-powered, Tier III EPA-certified engines meet stringent emissions standards and deliver exceptional performance. Horsepower has been increased and now ranges from 66 to 92 hp. These models also boast faster ground speeds, up to 7.5 mph in high speed.

Increased productivity was a key driver for the improved design of the track loader models. A new standard foot throttle in all models allows operators to be efficient with fuel. An improved control handle design with additional switches puts more controls at the operator”s finger tips. Activation of the “float” function is made easier with an improved push-button.

Standard proportional auxiliary hydraulics, controlled by a thumb switch, replaces the former foot-pedal control design. Models MTL320 and MTL325 are available with a high-flow option (36 gpm on MTL320, 40 gpm on MTL325).

Mustang Manufacturing Company currently markets a product portfolio consisting of a full line of skid-steer loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, all-wheel-steer loaders and compact track loaders. Mustang distributes the entire range of these products throughout North and South America, and exports skid-steer loaders to 39 countries worldwide.
