CT120 Brings Bobcat Innovation to Compact Tractors

Bobcat Company introduces the CT120, part of a new line of compact tractors being introduced this year. The compact size, agility and strength of the CT120 assists farmers, ranchers, commercial landscapers, groundskeepers, homeowners with acreage and other users with a variety of tasks.

A 20-horsepower diesel engine provides power to the CT120 and two travel speeds. Four-wheel drive for traveling over and working in rough terrain is standard and a hydrostatic transmission provides easy operation. The CT120 has a turning radius of 89 inches and weighs 2,055 pounds.

A compact size of 46.5 inches wide with agriculture tires and 106 inches long with three-point hitch makes the CT120 perfect for working in tight areas. The CT120 is 81.8 inches high with the roll-over protective structure (ROPS) deployed. These dimensions make the CT120 perfect for working in and around barns, mowing, property maintenance and light-duty work.

Bobcat offers implements to use with the CT120, including an angle blade, box blade, finish mower, post-hole digger and tine rake, as well as a front-end loader and attachments.

The CT120 has a number of safety features that come standard. The roll-over protective structure (ROPS) folds down to make transportation and storage of the tractor more convenient. A fully retractable seat belt comes with the suspension seat. The safety interlock system allows for neutral start and operation.

Other standard features on the CT120 include glow plug engine preheat, a toolbox, cruise control and a spark arrestor muffler.

In line with the Bobcat reputation for offering customers durable and reliable equipment, the CT120 has a sleek hood and side panels made of tough, durable steel that provides superior visibility to the front of the tractor. Standard comfort and safety features include a spark arrestor muffler, horn, brake lights and operator™s handbook, as well as a standard suspension seat and a fully retractable seat belt.

The CT120 is part of a new line of Bobcat® compact tractors. Other models now available include the CT225 and the CT230. Six additional models will be introduced throughout 2008.

Fifty years ago, Bobcat Company unleashed a way to work better, smarter, faster. During 2008, the company is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bobcat compact equipment, which began with the Melroe Self-Propelled Loader ” a three-wheeled front-end loader ” in 1958. That machine evolved into the Bobcat skid-steer loader and spawned the worldwide compact equipment industry. Today, Bobcat continues to lead the world in the design, manufacture and distribution of compact equipment.
