RUGGED AND RELIABLE, TEREX TXL300-2 WHEEL LOADER IS LOADED WITH VALUE

(Nov. 14, 2006) The new Terex TXL300-2 wheel loader offers contractors exceptional breakout force and generous engine power that shortens cycle times and increases bottom-line productivity. Engineered for use in a variety of applications, including construction, infrastructure and recycling, the rugged TXL300-2 effectively hauls, loads and moves materials around jobsites with ease.


 


Packing a powerful punch, the TXL300-2 weighs in at 38,140 lbs with Doosan DL08 227 hp at 1,700 rpm engine. This unit comes standard with a load sensing steering system, with a flow amplifier and a priority valve, and a powershift transmission, which can be used in manual or automatic modes, to give operators reliable performance day after day.


 


The lifting system on the TXL300-2 is designed to handle the toughest jobs. This unit has a standard bucket capacity of 3.9 yd3, and its breakout force rates at 36,419 lbf. Straight, the TXL300-2 has a tipping load capacity of 29,549 lbs, and fully articulated this unit has a tipping load capacity of 24,471 lbs. The bucket angles maintain good position on all ranges of the bucket movement.


 


The wheelbase on the TXL300-2 is 10²6³ and has a ground clearance of 1²7³. The entire unit measures 26²9³ in length and 11²3³ in height. The front and rear axles, with planetary hub reductions, are built on the base of reputed components. Fitted as standard, the front and rear slip differentials, ensure optimal traction in all circumstances.


The modular cab on the TXL300-2 offers operators excellent visibility and ease of use on the job. The main functions on the TXL300-2 are actuated via switches located on the console at the right of the operator, and all necessary information is centralized in front of the operator. The cab, mounted on viscous element and equipped with an air suspended seat, offers better comfort for the operator.


 


The TXL300-2 conforms to all industry safety standards. It is engineered with a ROPS/FOPS system, one access door and two emergency exits, as well as a machine monitoring system, which includes condition, control and maintenance indicators in front of the operating, giving immediate information on the operation of the machine.
