A NEW CHAMPION DEALER THINKS BIG IN RENTALS IN WASHINGTON STATE

Spokane, WA Mid-Mountain Machinery, Inc. operates from two Washington state locations, Spokane and Clarkston. They cover the eastern part of the state, east of the Cascades, and into Idaho and Montana. According to Larry Frazier, Champion™s Western Region Territory Manager, When Mid-Mountain became a dealer they purchased a Champion C80 and it was immediately out on rental.

A natural fit for a rental fleet

Champion Dealer Principal Mark Blutcher, said: We™ve been in the rental business for 35 years, and we see Champion Motor Graders as a natural fit a valuable addition. We™ve already had a great response from the paving and municipal sectors. We want to increase the number of graders we have available, since they™re creating a buzz around here.

Sales Manager John Rogers, added. All those statements that Champion makes about their graders are true they™re comfortable and right-sized, with big feel in a small package. It™s definitely a well-made and well put together product. We like to have our rentals optioned up to increase customer value and demonstrate just how much productivity these machines can deliver, and Champion has a lot to offer in that area.

Add Options Add Value

What Mid-Mountain has demonstrated is that a Champion Motor Grader with the right options can truly add value to a contractors operation. By having additional attachments, we can easily increase the utilization rate. As well, being able to multi-task on a job site keeps the number of machines down and the costs in line. According to Frazier, a Champion Grader can be equipped with a dozer blade, scarifier, broom, or roller to make it an all-round productivity tool. It™s a tool carrier design with designed-in frame strength, and built-in attachment points and hydraulics.

Big grader cab comfortable and productive

Having a compact grader with a full cab is also a nice feature, added Blutcher, and the Champion cab has big grader features and comfort. You can step from one to another and be familiar with the set-up right away. It feels great to operate, with lots of room, a comfortable seat and easy to use controls. With air conditioning and heating, it™s meant for year-round work.

A good fit in the line-up

This is a quality piece of equipment that fits in well here with our lines and with our customer base, said Rogers. Mid-Mountain Machinery carries a wide range of construction equipment for sales and rental: Case, Bomag, Multiquip, Interstate, Takeuchi, Butler, JLG, Wacker, and Okada, and numerous others to serve the contractor and municipal markets.

Mid-Mountain Machinery opened in Spokane in 1959. In 1998, the company became a United Rental store, In 2005 Mark Blutcher left United Rentals to purchase 2 Western Power locations in Spokane and Clarkston, WA and brought back the Name Mid-Mountain Machinery.
