WACKER expands portable cut-off saw line

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin WACKER is introducing a new 16-inch cut-off saw to its line.  The new BTS 1140L3 offers versatility to WACKER™s saw line and is designed for fast efficient cutting. 


 


Powered by a 6.1-hp two cycle engine, the BTS 1140L3 is WACKER™s most powerful model and with the 16-inch blade diameter, it offers an efficient cutting depth of 5.7 inches. The lightweight model, only 23.4 pounds, the larger blade diameter and extra horsepower add up to the highest power-to-weight ratio in its class allowing the BTS 1140L3 to provide customers more power and flexibility with minimal weight.  This new model also features WACKER™s proven L3 (Long Life Lubrication) piston.   This unique piston is furnished with a special graphite surface coating to eliminate piston and cylinder overheating even during tough continuous operations, offering excellent performance and efficiency. 


 


The BTS 1140L3 features a multi-ribbed belt for better power transmission to the cutting blade.  This proven technology, used in the walk-behind saw market, provides for longer life and excellent performance with faster cuts.  The BTS 1140L3 comes equipped with an operator-friendly air cleaning system.  This system directs the air flow so that the dust is automatically shaken off the preliminary filter through the machine™s own vibration.  This unit also offers outstanding ergonomic features including a fingertip throttle control that operates only when the throttle lock is depressed for added safety to the operator and a large silencer muffler provides quiet operation.  The large double wall nylon fuel tank offers long running times and increase environmental protection.


 


The new BTS 1140L3 complements WACKER™s 12-inch and 14-inch BTS saws.  All models can be matched with a variety of WACKER diamond blades for excellent, fast cutting results in a variety of applications.
