Construction & Multi Purpose Pumps

Updated Jul 29, 2010

Honda Power Equipment markets a complete line of portable water pumps for a wide variety of agricultural, construction, rental, and residential applications.  Rugged, easy-to-use and dependable, the product line consists of a number of different models in four different categories – de-watering, construction, multi-purpose, and submersible series.

While most Honda general purpose de-watering pumps are for moving relatively clean water, the construction – or trash – pumps are used for pumping water contaminated with sticks, leaves, stones and other waste materials.  Honda’s trash pumps are specially designed for job sites and applications where high volume trash water capacity is required.  Honda’s construction pumps are also ideal for heavy-duty commercial and agricultural applications.

The WT series pumps offer the easy-starting and reliable OHV commercial-grade engine, rugged full frame protection, quick release clean-out and durable Silicon carbide mechanical seals. The WT trash pumps features also include a unique conical-shaped cast iron impeller for improved priming and durability, replaceable stainless-steel wear plates for extended life, long-life silicon carbide water seals, lightweight cast aluminum pump housing, high performance mounts which minimize vibration and a convenient multi-tool for on-site pump servicing and clean-out.

The WDP diaphragm pump moves wastewater containing up to 2.4” diameter solids and is designed for industrial applications including construction, agriculture, mining, and any application where muddy water, sludge or water with a high percentage of solids might be encountered.  Superior performance and durability are the result of a unique combination of features including die cast aluminum case, air cushion chamber, special rock channel that allows solids to easily pass, spring-protected connecting rod to prevent case damage, rugged neoprene diaphragm with nylon insert and a standard wheel kit for easy transport.  Each model is protected by Honda’s Oil Alert® system.

The WMP20XA is especially designed to pump various industrial and agricultural chemicals in addition to clear water applications.  The WMP series pump features EPDM seals for chemical resistance, a reinforced thermoplastic pump housing and impeller, and full frame protection with vibration-damping mounts.
