FERRIS INCREASES OPERATOR COMFORT WITH NEW SEAT AND OPTIONAL SUSPENSION PLATFORM

Munnsville, N.Y. (October 27, 2010) – When Ferris introduced its patented IS® suspension system for commercial mowers, it was the first company to recognize that increased operator comfort directly affected productivity.  Since then, Ferris has continued to focus on operator comfort in the design of its commercial mowers.

Adding to this legacy, Ferris is introducing a new premium adjustable seat on all large-frame Ferris zero-turn mowers beginning in January 2011.  The new seat will be standard on the IS 2000Z, IS 2500Z, IS 3100Z, IS 3100Z Propane and IS 5100Z.  An optional suspension platform will also be offered, adding even more comfort to the ride.
