The Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) announced application packages for the 2009 Snow Warrior Awards are available. Awards will be presented at a banquet during the 12th Annual Snow & Ice Symposium in Louisville, Kentucky, in June.
Snow Warrior Awards include the Excellence in Business Award, the Employee of the Year Award and Safety Awards. The Excellence in Business Award is presented to the company who demonstrates success in the areas of business practices, customer satisfaction, community relations and accountability. Interested companies should submit an application.
The Employee of the Year Award goes to one individual recognized for displaying excellence at work, providing leadership and being an example for the industry. Companies may nominate someone for the award by submitting a nomination form.
Safety Awards honor companies who demonstrate exceptional safety procedures and execution throughout the year. Interested candidates may fill out an entry form and complete a safety checklist.
All submitted applications, nominations and entry forms will be reviewed by a panel of judges to determine the winners.
