The comment period for draft recommendations regarding controller add-on devices for the Smart Water Application Technologies program ends April 27. Recommendations address controllers that would need to be tested with add-on devices to receive a WaterSense label.
The draft was written in response to issues raised at the SWAT meeting held during the 2008 Irrigation Show in Anaheim, California. When the comment period ends, SWAT will review the consensus and submit a position paper to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
