Ball Horticultural held the Simply Beautiful Container Contests at Tagawa Gardens in Centennial, Colorado, and the Dickman Farms Garden Center in Auburn, New York, to benefit area charities in late May.
At least 4,000 participants competed in each location, constructing container gardens from more than 30 Simply Beautiful varieties supplied. Winners were chosen based on their container gardens’ style, creativity and use of color.
The events benefited the Denver area Ronald McDonald House and the Syracuse area’s Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
