Big John exports equipment to Iraq

In light of the United States’ economic downturn, Big John Tree Transplanter has exported seven Model 90D’s mounted on MACK truck chassis to Iraq. The shipment is part of an overall move for the company to increase business overseas.

Big John first began its focus on building relationships with other countries four years ago at the onset of the economic slowdown. The company expects exports to equal 35 percent of total revenue this year.

Big John has also established relationships with customers in Russia, Mongolia, Spain, Vietnam, Ukarine, Lebanon, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico and Canada. Later this year, the company will have several distributorships in Central and South America. It is also pursuing potential customer bases in China, India, the Philippines, Malaysia and Turkey.
