ARA to recognize members at The Rental Show

Each year the American Rental Association recognizes individuals for their service to the organization and the rental industry. This year’s recipients will be honored at The Rental Show 2009, which will be held March 2-5 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Four of the award winners are listed below.

· The Distinguished Service Award will be presented to Gene Rahll, vice president of Rabern Rentals, Amarillo, Texas, and partner in ABC Rental Centers in Catonsville, Towson and Columbia, Maryland. The award is given to an ARA member for continuous involvement and contributions to the organization at the international, national, regional, state and local levels.
· The Meritorious Service Award will honor Nancy Marshall-Vokorokos of Reading Rentals, Reading, Pennsylvania. The award honors an ARA member who made a significant contribution and demonstrated leadership essential to the success of a project or program. Marshall-Vokorokos will receive the award for her work with the ARA Foundation scholarship program.
· The Special Service Award will be given to Roger Euliss, retired president of Mutiquip. The award recognizes an individual not in the general rental business who has made significant contributions through involvement in ARA. Euliss is being honored for his company’s involvement with the National Equipment Register.
· The Outstanding Leadership Award will be presented to Timothy Cahall, CERP, of The Main Event, Mount Airy, Maryland. The award honors an individual who provides examples of excellent leadership at the grassroots level of the ARA. Cahall will be honored for his work in reactivating ARA of Maryland.
