New England Grows 2009 a success

New England Grows 2009 was held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, Feb. 4-6. The event has a well-known education program, and this year’s show featured 30 sessions targeting innovative ideas, emerging trends and research finds.

For the second year, Professor Jack Ahern of the University of Massachusetts presented “Essentials of Plant Identification.” The interactive educational session included a plant ID challenge on the exposition floor. A grand prize raffle drawing was held for attendees who successfully completed the challenge.
