BASF Turf & Ornamentals expands its team

BASF Turf & Ornamentals added four new employees to the company; three join from BASF’s acquisition of Whitmire Micro-Gen.

Missi Koenig joins BASF from Whitmire Micro-Gen as product manager. She will be based in St. Louis, Missouri, and will liaise with the Whitmire-line production group, communicate production demand and packaging, work on new development projects and aid in product/positioning of the acquired Whitmire-line products within the BASF Turf & Ornamentals portfolio.

David Schell and Brian McCaffrey are also from Whitmire Micro-Gen and will serve as sales specialists for BASF. McCaffrey previously served as horticulture national sales manager for Whitmire. His territory will be in South Florida in his new position with BASF. Schell previously worked as a horticulture regional technical specialist. At BASF his territory includes Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey.

David Maubach will serve as senior sales specialist for BASF. He previously worked with BASF Pest Control as a sales specialist in the Midwest. He has more than 20 years experience in the crop protection industry, and his new territory will include Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, Colorado and North and South Dakota.
