Kubota Corporation named Satoshi Iida the new president of Kubota Tractor Corporation, based in Torrance, California. Iida has worked for Kubota Corporation for 29 years, serving in the company’s engineering, utility tractor and construction equipment divisions. His most recent position before joining Kubota Tractor Corporation was president of Kubota Europe in France.
Iida replaces Tetsuji “Mike” Tomita, who was named Kubota Corporation’s Division president, Farm and Industrial Machinery Consolidated Division and general manager International Operations Headquarters, in Osaka, Japan.
Iida is also a member of Kubota Corporation’s Board of Directors, and he holds a Ph.D. in mechanical and systems engineering.
