The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering awarded the Turf Teq Model 1305BC brush cutter its coveted Agricultural Engineering 50 Award. This year’s AE 50 Awards will be presented at ASABE’s annual meeting on June 22 in Reno, Nevada.
The walk-behind brush cutter has a 13-horsepower engine and fully hydrostatic transmission with differential lock. It can clear away tall grass and overgrowth in awkward spots with a variable angle cutting head and a pivoting feature allows cutting on hillsides. The deck can pivot up to 12 inches away from the handle. The multi-use tractor has attachment options so the cutter can also maneuver a Power Edger, Power Broom and Power Rake.
