New Holland Construction and Kobelco America introduced an online calculator to help analyze the cost and savings of buying new equipment through the government’s extended 2009 tax incentives.
The calculator can assess the probable savings due to tax benefits. Business owners can examine their cost under the lens of the 50-Percent Bonus First Year Depreciation or the Section 179 Expense Election, which permits companies to expense up to $250,000 in equipment if they spend less the $800,000 that year. It also provides a financing options feature.
