The U.S. Commerce Association awarded Kioti Tractor, located in Wendell, North Carolina, the 2009 Best of Wendell Award in the Industrial Tractors category. The USCA “Best of Local Business” awards program honors local businesses throughout the country that achieve outstanding marketing success in their local community. Each winning company has worked to further the positive image of small businesses through service to their customers, loyalty to employees and support of the community.
While Kioti is dedicated to increasing the efficiency and profitability of its company, it is also concerned with its employees’ health. The company has an internal wellness program that includes an onsite gym, weekly fitness class and Weight Watchers at work program.
In support of the community, Kioti is involved with the Wendell Chamber of Commerce in sponsoring local golf outings, a harvest festival and school and civic organization activities. Additionally, Kioti Director of Project Planning and Coordination Michael Greene has served on the board of the Chamber of Commerce for the past four years.
