Dow AgroSciences announced a $340 million research and development expansion Tuesday, April 22. The multi-year expansion of its global headquarters in Indianapolis will add more than 550 scientific and commercial jobs over the next five years.
The first phase of the expansion plan includes a new 175,000-square-foot research and development building and a 14,000-square-foot greenhouse on the company’s corporate campus. These new facilities will help Dow AgroSciences develp and commercialize new product solutions for customers in agricultural and related market segments.
“Dow AgroSciences is positioning itself for growth,” said Mark Urbanowski, product marketing leader for Turf & Ornamental. “This expansion gives us the infrastructure and capabilities to deliver innovation for our customers.”
