Water Conference will focus on role of smart irrigation

The American Society of Irrigation Consultants will be partnering with the Irrigation Association to present the 2011 Water Conference. The third annual conference, “Water for the Future: The Role of Smart Irrigation,” will be July 21-22 at the Omni Interlocken Resort and Spa in Broomfield, Colorado.

The conference is designed to bring irrigation professionals, strategists, academics, environmentalists and water managers together with irrigation practitioners to discuss the world’s water challenges and the industry’s role in providing solutions. Confirmed speakers include Peter Williams, chief technology officer of Big Green Innovations Division, IBM; Liz Gardener, suburban conservation coordinator of Denver Water; Scott Slater, shareholder of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck; and Jeff Bruce, Jeffrey L. Bruce & Company.
