The Office of the State Engineer’s new landscaping app has earned a Gold Medal Award from the Association of Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Life and Human Sciences.
The app, developed with the New Mexico State University Center for Landscape Water Conservation and the NMSU Learning Games Lab, also earned an honorable mention for Best Innovative Use of Communication Technology.
It is designed to help homeowners xeriscape their homes and design low-water-use landscapes.
