The award recognizes Netafim’s innovative approaches to sustainable water management and the development of new products and technologies in agricultural irrigation that help mitigate world hunger.
The Stockholm International Water Institute grants the laureate in partnership with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
Netafim operates 16 manufacturing plants in North and South America, Europe and Asia, including Israel. The company is also a member of UN CEO Water Mandate and works with international organizations, governments and academic institutions.
The award will be presented at a World Water Week ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden on Sept. 3
