The company has released the V3R telematics platform for work truck fleets and construction equipment.
Featuring a hard casing to withstand rough terrains, the GPS meets the IP67 and IP69K ratings. The device can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius and can function in environments up to 95 percent humidity.
Using a 3G network, the GPS gives reports and alerts for asset location, speed, idle time and geo-fences.
The device features an automatic hour meter, which helps track needed maintenance and provides data for billable hours. It is also compatible with Zonar’s electronic vehicle inspection reports system for automated visual truck and equipment inspection reporting.
