Known for helping landscapers switch machinery to propane instead of gas, PERC also works with emergency responders and propane-industry professionals to help teach them about safety practices.
The two groups will be hosting a conference from Sept. 23-24 at the Brayton Training Field at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in College Station.
The conference will be a 16-hour educational session where emergency responders and propane industry professionals exchange safety information, techniques and experiences.
PERC’s training program, the Propane Emergencies Program, is established in 27 states.
The conference is open to professionals involved in propane safety and response activities.
