Hyundai Heavy Industries Group Gives Back to Typhoon Victims

BL_22241_8cfc6a46d946fdcHyundai Heavy Industries Group, Hyundai Construction Equipment’s parent company, is reaching out to the Philippines.

The company has made a donation of $200,000 via the Korean Red Cross to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

In addition to the donation, the company has also dispatched a 21-ton class excavator, a backhoe loader and experienced operators to help recovery efforts in the area.

“We express our deep condolences to the victims of the typhoon,” says Lee Jai-Seong, Hyundai Heavy’s President and CEO. “We will provide as much assistance as we can in order to help the victims reclaim their normal lives.”
