For those struggling to battle the snow this season, a solution may have come in an unusual form.

Track N Go is a system where pickup truck owners can install a wheel-driven track system over the tires of 4 x 4 pickups, according to our sister pub, Equipment World magazine.

The system allows owners to install the system without having to lift the truck, take it to the shop or take off the tires.

However, operators need to be aware of the vehicle requirements: a 4 x 4 pickup with automatic transmission with LO and HI modes, winter tires with a regular soft compound, a truck with leaf spring suspension and differential automatic lock on the rear axle.

Track N Go systems will be sold directly from the manufacturer and will cost $25,000.
