Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas is turning its attention to something other than construction.
The company recently made a donation to the Del Webb Middle School Varsity Orchestra of Henderson, Nevada.
The group recently provided entertainment at Hyundai’s 2014 ConExpo exhibit earlier this month at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Del Webb Middle School Varsity Orchestra consists of 64 students ranging in age from 12 to 14 years old. Students in this orchestra have a minimum of two years of playing experience on violin, viola, cello or bass.
Most recently, the Varsity Orchestra performed at the Clark County School District Middle School Orchestra Festival where they earned superior ratings (the highest rating possible) from three nationally acclaimed adjudicators.
Hyundai’s donation will be used to purchase music and instruments for the students, as well as professional posture chairs.
