The Irrigation Foundation hosted its 12th annual Irrigation Faculty Academy in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

For two days, 22 college and high school instructors from 21 schools attended the event, with nine first-time attendees.

The program was held at Longwood Gardens, a botanical garden with more than 1,000 acres of gardens, woodlands and meadows.

During the event, industry experts led sessions on:

  • Design capacity
  • Hydraulics
  • Backflow prevention
  • How various systems work together

Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the irrigation systems at both Longwood Gardens and Nemours Mansion & Gardens, a 300-acre estate located in Wilmington, Delaware.
