Belgard Hardscapes introduced a variety of pavers during GIE+EXPO.
Belgard’s Old York interlocking concrete pavers are suitable for residential and commercial installations.
“They have a hand-molded, clay brick look,” says Ken O’Neill, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Belgard Hardscapes. Old York will be available in spring of 2015.
The pavers are available in Brookhaven, Madison and Summer Hill colors. With a range of face textures and installation patterns, Old York has a 6-millimeter joint that simulates a mortared brick installation.
Its 60-millimeter thickness allows for vehicular traffic, making it suitable for driveways and roadways in addition to sidewalks, patios and plazas.
Additionally, a 6-millimeter spacebar allows for permeable installation.
Belgard also unveiled its Catalina Slate pavers, which are ideal for pool decks, residential driveways and walkways.
The pavers have a textured surface for a rustic look. Catalina Slate is available in a variety of shapes and sizes: three-piece modular, three-piece stone and border stone.
The company also showcased its Tandem Wall and oversized Mega-Tandem retaining wall systems.
As far as hardscape trends go, O’Neill says permeable pavers have become more popular. “They are a key market we see growing — especially with driveways.”
