General Motors has launched special edition pickup packages for both its flagship Chevrolet Silverado and the redesigned midsize GMC Canyon that add a sleeker appearance to the trucks.
First up is the 2015 GMC Canyon Nightfall edition, which offers more substantial changes. Offered on both 2WD and 4WD SLE crew cab models, the Canyon Nightfall features an Onyx Black paint job with a matching grille, 18-inch wheels, black assist steps, a polished exhaust tip and a factory-installed spray-in bedliner.
And in addition to the standard SLE equipment like a rearview camera and 4G LTE Wi-Fi, the Nightfall adds remote start and automatic climate control.
The new Custom Sport package is available on LT and LTZ models and features body-colored front and rear bumpers with a chrome-accented grille. The truck also features 20-inch chrome wheels, chrome door handles and mirror caps and chrome body-side moldings. Projector beam headlamps, tow hooks and heated power-adjusted mirrors are also part of the package.
You’ll be able to outfit the Custom Sport in black or white.
There’s no word just yet on the Canyon Nightfall’s price, but it will be available in the second quarter. GM says dealers can start placing orders on the Custom Sport this month with package prices varying from $1,950 to $2,950.
