Phase one of Magic Kingdom renovations are complete (Photos, video)

Disney’s Magic Kingdom is getting a makeover, and phase one is complete.

Renovations and upgrades began last year at Magic Kingdom Park in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Phase one included the Central Plaza area between Main Street U.S.A. and Cinderella castle.

The upgrades will include additional pathways, seating and sculpted gardens inspired by European castles and chateaus. There will also be a new viewing area for fireworks and other performances. Seating in the area will also increase.
