PLANET awarded recipients for excellence at the Great Escape Conference

Dan Foley, Janelle Bruland and the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC) were recognized at the Great Escape Professional Landscapers Network (PLANET) Conference in Nassau, Bahamas.

Landscape industry certified recipient Foley, a PLANET past-president, received the Lifetime Leadership Award. The award recognizes leadership, service and commitment to PLANET and the landscaping industry.

Bruland received the organization’s first-ever Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Bruland is the CEO of Management Services Northwest, recently named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country. She quadrupled the size of her business in the last seven years, including expansion into five states with more than 200 employees.

ALCC received the Association Leadership Award for their day of service projects led by the six ALCC chapters. The association also has a certified technician-exterior designation.
