The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) is polling its members about the smart-phone applications they use to “conceptualize, design and construct projects.” The survey asks how often the respondent uses the application, or “app,” in their landscape design work, as well as how he or she found out about the app.

ASLA expects to wrap up the survey by July 10, assess the responses and then report the findings in a variety of media, including the organization’s own publications.

To prompt its members to take the five-minute survey, ASLA is offering a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card to those who take it. “The goal,” says an ASLA news release, “is to educate landscape architects about all the new options and how these tools can be applied to the design process.”
